This is a true hidden gem! A small mom-and-pop Puerto Rican restaurant with amazing service and food that’s a solid 10/10. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and made with so much love. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good, and I was blown away. Traveling from Florida, this place easily makes it into my top 5 restaurants I’ve ever tried while traveling. You can feel the passion and pride in both the food and the hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican food and a warm, welcoming experience, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Another good place to eat in New Brunswick. This one is not a large place, so be prepared. The food is very good authentic Puerto Rican food. I had the stewed chicken lunch special. It came with rice, beans and a side salad. The daily specials here are incredible, and I highly recommend this place for those who like good Puerto Rican cuisine.

We had the opportunity to try the food stand at the Allentown Fall Festival. We enjoyed what we had overall. The pork kabob was good. The pork was moist, and the flavor was pleasant if not exceptional. The rice and plantains were very good. We liked it enough that we would certainly try the restaurant if we were in the area.

Food is delicious but need more flavor unfortunately. The people was so polite and patient w me and my friend because we had tons of questions about their food. It was our first time eating at this restaurant. I recommend this place the Whiting Fish was delicious but the beans wasn't as flavorful. I would come back for the Whiting Fish..

The food is delicious. The meat is always seasoned well. The empanadas are tasty and the beans tastes like abuelita's. My ONLY complaint is when I order a coffee they bring it out to the table with cold milk which makes my coffee cold They should warm it up (like we do at home) and bring it to the table. Aside from that the servers are all sweet and I can't complain about the service

love supporting this small local mom/pops restaurant! we ordered the following dinner platters: bistec, mofongo & chicharron , and pernil. the bistec was so flavorful although the meat was a little tough to chew. they give you a side salad and 3 platano maduro with each platter and your choice of rice. the mofongo was the best!!! taste 100% authentic, crispy, and delicious. Wish they had options for bigger servings to share for mofongo cuz it was that good the pernil was so tender and wasn't too salty or too unseasoned. they gave us massive amounts of pernil too. had an amazing experience ordering takeout here! delivery took less than 30 mins away.

After a stressful appointment with his doctor, I wanted to feed my son what I consider "comfort" food. We'd never been there before, I literally just googled Puertorican food near RWJ. We walked in and we greated warmly by the staff. The young ladies manning the counter were friendly and welcoming as only aPuertoricans trying to feed you can be (wykyk). I have food allergies so iI had some questions about ingredients. They seemed very knowledgeable and offered to double check if i wanted. We ordered the stewed chicken and the BBQ ribs as well as relleno de papa and alcapuria de yucca. I wish I had taken pictures before we tasted the food because once we started eating the food was done for. First, we got so much arroz con gandules, we couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I had the chicken. It was so tender it was practically falling off the bone. My son had the ribs. He said it was great and loved the sauce. The papa rellena was gone first before we'd even gone a block so needless to say it was good. The alcapuria was delicious but honestly could have used more meat. I felt the same could be said about the relleno de papa, but my son didn't care, he devoured it. Overall, the food was flavorful and delicious. Delicious enough that my son is actually looking forward to his next hospital visit. Unfortunately, I didn't get to have my leftover rice as my oldest got home from university and devoured it like he hadn't eaten in a week, but suffice it to say we would definitely recommend it if you want authentic Puertorican food. My son agrees except with me taking half a star away because of the alcapuria and relleno de papa.
